Spring has definitely sprung this week in my part of southern Perthshire. Blue sky and sunshine has been much missed.
The purples and yellows of crocuses are starting to take over from
the white of the snowdrops, but the daffodils are not quite ready to pop
open just yet.
I noticed the Great Tit pair in and out of the nest box yesterday, so
I’m hoping they will use it again this year. It was great to watch the
action last year. The parents raised a brood of three, and all would
visit the feeders.
Here’s one of the chicks from last year, trying to decide whether to leave the safety of the nest!
