Craigower Hill, Perthshire

November 2004
A lovely walk near Pitlochry. Starting close to the golf course near Moulin on the road to Ben Vrackie, the walk crosses the course and then climbs up through coniferous woodland.

Climbing steeper to reach the summit, the effort is well rewarded with a stunning view, taking in Loch Tummel, Schiehallion and, on a clear day, Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe.

There are various corrogated iron sheets lying about for the local adder population.

Schiehallion and Loch Tummel with the hills of Buachaille Etive Mor, etc, in the far distance.

Drove past Edradour Distillary on the way home - Scotland's smallest distillary and producer of a lovely cream liqueur!
