Campsie Fells

On Saturday we walked the Campsie Fells to Cort-ma Law (531m).

We started the walk at about 10am and there was only a couple of cars in the car park. The walk starts off steeply, up several inclines, gaining height quickly.

The walk to Cort-ma Law is pleasant enough, except for the bog underfoot in places. We were intending to do the circuit which also takes in Leckett Hill, but came across a large expanse of bog that I couldn't get through - or rather, didn't have the patience for!! So we retraced our steps and went back the way we came.

By the time we were heading back, there were lots of people heading up and the car park was full.
